Pamplona City Council has introduced a new measure to prevent odors and dirt in certain parts of the city during the San Fermin festival: a product that repels urine. The product CK-Splash Back, which has already been implemented in the cities of Vitoria, San Sebastian, Miranda de Ebro, Hernani or Santander, cause a rebound effect splashing back on the individual who pees, causing him to stain on his pants and shoes.

For the product to work, it needs a temperature above 10 degrees, but that will not be a drawback in Pamplona, since these days are estimated for temperatures up to 32 degrees.

The fine for urinating in the street in Pamplona is 300 euros, and is halved if prompt payment
